The Requirement of Sublimation Printing
When we watch the video ,we always think that the sublimation printing looks so simple.But there are too many things we should pay attention to,such as temperature,pressure ...
1.Temperature and time
Sublimation transfer process requires that the temperature should be controlled in the range of 180 ℃ ~ 230 ℃, and the time is about 10 ~ 30 s. At the same time ,pay attention to the reasonable deployment of temperature and time.
2.Pressure
Pressure is also one of the important parameters of dye-sublimation transfer process.Sublimation transfer printing of fabric, for example, if the pressure is too small, the gap between the fabric and the transfer paper will be large, then the effect of printing will be poor.
If the pressure is too large, it will prone to some problems such as deformation, fluff .This will lead to some shortcomings,like the surface of fabric will be rough ,the ink will be difficult to substrate into the fabric.
Only when the pressure is appropriate, the gap between the transfer paper and fabric is reasonable, the feeling and visual effects are all far superior to the common ink and transfer paper, it is colorful, not crack, etc.
3.Other aspects
In addition to the ink, temperature, time and pressure will affect the quality of sublimation transfer, we should pay attention to some matters in the actual production process .
The first is the choice of transfer paper, suppliers with high credibility and stable quality is the first choice.
Secondly, it should be recognized that the color difference of the dye ink before transfer (the pattern on the transfer paper before heat application) and after transfer (pattern transferred to the fabric) is large.The dye sublimation ink always looks dark and dull, so it needs the high-temperature about 200 ℃ to restore it's true color. Therefore that it's necessary to make samples before printing.
Finally, during the process of heat pressing, the heat press surface, transfer paper and surface of substrate must be close, can not have the gaps, otherwise it will make the transfered graphics.
