What's the difference between heat transfer paper and heat transfer film?
Heat transfer paper is a kind of printing material: in printing, the pattern is printed on the heat transfer paper, and then transferred to the surface of the substrate by heat and pressure.
Printer transfer paper is mainly divided into heat sublimation paper and heat stamping paper. Heat sublimation paper is mainly suitable for polyester fabrics, such as:
1. Clothing decorative cloth, curtain cloth, sofa, umbrella cloth, handbag, carpet cloth, toy cloth, etc.
2. PU or PVC surface, such as fabrics coated with PU or PVC.
3. The front and back of all kinds of natural leather.
Heat transfer paper is mainly used in cotton, dark fabric and so on.
What about the heat transfer film? The process principle of denim heat transfer film is similar to that of heat transfer paper, but the base film or transfer medium of heat transfer film is transparent film. There are three main materials of base film: OPP, PET and PVC.
1. OPP: It has large flexibility and stamping force, but poor high temperature resistance.
2. PET: It has small flexibility and good stability. It is widely used. 80% of the heat transfer film is made of this material.
3. PVC: Good corrosion resistance and insulation.
Heat transfer film is suitable for ABS, PP, PE, EVA, PVC and other materials of plastics, jeans, metals, including spray paint and unpainted, wood and so on. At the same time, the product surface is required to be planar or regular surface, such as cylinder, cone, surface and so on.
