Do You Know Sensient Three Types Sublimation Ink ,And What Are Difference?
Sensient dye sublimation ink include three types:ElvaJet® S series ,ElvaJet® Swift,ElvaJet® Punch. All of them can used for sublimation printing ,but they also have differences.
So what are differences between three types sensient dye sublimation ink ?I will introduce you one by one .
1,ElvaJet® S series
Benefit from the high productivity potential of large format digital printing with the ElvaJet® S series of high performance water-based sublimation inks. Sensient is the pioneer of sublimation printing leading the way in advanced ink chemistry to enable digital sublimation printing on a truly industrial scale.
ElvaJet S series inks are tuned for individual printheads allowing optimum performance and quality across a range of applications including fashion, interior textiles, sportswear and flag & banner. The inks are designed to give optimum performance in color, ink release and process efficiency, each being fundamental to maximize performance with:
ease of use in the latest large format printers
simple, fast dry printing process
high transfer efficiency allowing use of low weight papers
high color intensity
excellent application performance
How to use
Printing
ElvaJet® S series inks are tested on the most frequently used printers across a variety of printheads. The suitability of the inks for individual systems and applications should be validated by the user. Sensient is available to support such tests as required. For optimal printing, the relative humidity rate must be kept at 55% or higher and the ambient temperature should be around 20°C (70°F).
Fixation
ElvaJet S series inks are designed for transfer to the substrate via any type of sublimation transfer paper or film. Once printed, the transfer paper should be handled with care and the ink transferred to the fabric as soon as possible after printing.
To obtain a good color transfer and fixation, the printed substrate should be transferred at 210°C (410°F) for 30s.
Maintenance
It is recommended to pay special care to the printer maintenance in order to ensure optimal running of the printer. The following operations are recommended:
Regular check and cleaning of the wiper
Regular check and cleaning of the capping station
If the inks dry in the nozzles, the normal cleaning procedure built into the printer should be applied. It is recommended to use the recommended cleaning solution for the ink set being used.
If you plan to let the printer in stand-by for more than one week, it is recommended to purge and clean the printer with flush and install a Parking Flush.
Available for the following printheads
EPSON
KONICA MINOLTA
KYOCERA
RICOH
2,ElvaJet® Swift
ElvaJet® Swift is the first digital sublimation ink to address all of the day-to-day requirements of printers. Sensient listened to our customers and Swift delivers excellence in color, drying time, transfer efficiency, printing performance and ease of use. Swift is your gateway to obtaining optimum productivity when printing fashion, interior textiles, sportswear and flag & banner.
How to use
Printing
The ElvaJet® Swift series is tested on the most frequently used printers equipped with Epson DX series printheads. The suitability of the inks for individual systems and applications should be validated by the user .
If the inks dry in the nozzles, the normal cleaning procedure built into the printer should be applied. It is recommended to use our specific cleaning solution (e.g. Sensient Conversion Flush WB).
For optimal printing, the relative humidity rate should be kept at 55% or higher and the ambient temperature should be around 20°C (70°F).
Fixation
ElvaJet® Swift inks are designed for transfer to the substrate via any type of sublimation transfer paper or film. Once printed, the transfer paper should be handled with care and the ink transferred to the fabric as soon as possible.

Available for the following printheads
EPSON
3,ElvaJet® Punch
ElvaJet® Punch is the sublimation ink to take your printing to the next level. Based on high performance materials, ElvaJet Punch delivers the best in color strength and application performance whilst maintaining the quality in printing and consistency in production that is hallmark of all Sensient products.
ElvaJet Punch offers clear advantages in terms of color and cost efficiency, allowing you to use less ink whilst maintaining the best in color performance. This allows the possibility to switch to lower weight papers without compromising the final product quality, allowing savings in cost, storage space and waste.
How to use
Printing
The ElvaJet Punch series has been tested on the most frequently used printers equipped with any Epson printhead. The suitability of the inks for individual systems and applications should be validated by the user.
If the inks dry in the nozzles, the normal cleaning procedure built into the printer should be applied. We recommend using our specific cleaning solution (e.g. Sensient Conversion Flush WB).
For optimal printing, the relative humidity rate must be kept at 55% or higher and the ambient temperature should be around 20°C (70°F).
Fixation
ElvaJet Punch inks are designed for direct printing or for transfer to the substrate via any type of sublimation transfer paper or film. If using the transfer method, once printed, the transfer paper should be handled with care and the ink transferred to the fabric as soon as possible after printing.
To obtain a good color transfer and fixing, the printed substrate should be transferred at 210°C (410°F) for 30s.
