UV printer "plug" can be roughly divided into two categories: soft plugs and hard plugs.

Repair of UV printer soft plug:

1. Soft plugging refers to the disconnection fault caused by the viscosity of the ink on the nozzle due to various reasons. Sometimes it only attaches to the surface of the printer head of the ink outlet. Generally, the flashing setting is turned on in the machine, and the 8HZ is adjusted to 1K, and then it is flashed for 2 minutes and then returned to 8HZ, and can be recovered after multiple flashes. The advantage is that the operation is simple and fast, without any physical damage. The disadvantage is that the use cost is higher and the ink is wasted.

2. Use the print head cleaning function in the printer utility to clean. The advantage is that the operation is simple and fast. The disadvantage is that the cleaning effect is not ideal.

Repair of hard seals for UV printers:

The hard plug refers to the plug caused by chemical coagulation or impurities in the printer head. The troubleshooting method is difficult. In this case, the following two methods can be used to solve the problem.

1.Pressure method

Scope of application: Lightly obstructed; necessary tools: 95% alcohol, a clean cup and a flat metal container.

Working principle: Dissolve the ink particles one by one with medium-strength organic solvent. Note that 95% organic solvent alcohol must be used, otherwise it will be counterproductive.

Solution: First find a metal container with a flat bottom surface, and add a little 95% organic solvent alcohol to the container. The alcohol is just enough to cover the stainless steel edge of the print head (be careful not to let the main board of the nozzle touch the alcohol). Soaking time generally ranges from 5 to 15 minutes. By using the pressure generated by the action of the syringe, the organic solvent of alcohol is injected into the print head to clean the dry ink head.

2. Ultrasonic instrument cleaning method

Scope of application: The most severely blocked situation.

Working principle: The ultrasonic cleaning machine generates strong ultrasonic waves to make the water molecules vibrate violently, and the fine dry ink particles are shattered and dissolved in water to achieve the purpose of cleaning.

Solution: Gently place the inkjet printhead into the washer and add a dedicated printhead cleaning solution. The cleaning solution can be quickly cleaned up to just cover the stainless steel edge of the print head (be careful not to let the main board touch the special cleaning solution). The advantage is that the cleaning effect is very good, the print head that has been blocked for many years can be cleaned and the operation is very simple. The disadvantage is that the maintenance cost is higher and the price is more expensive.
