Why sublimation printing is so popular in textile printing industry ?First of all , I will introduce you what is sublimation printing .

Sublimation printing is done using a process to heat dye and transfer it onto a medium such as paper or plastic. The printer rollers push the medium and its colour panels beneath its thermal printing head. The printing head contains heating elements, and lays the dye amounts depending on the amount of heat transmitted. The dye heats to a gas, spreads onto the printing medium and becomes a solid colour.


And there are so many advantages of sublimation printing .Advantages of sublimation printing has over inkjet printing include immediate print handling, since the prints are produced dry as opposed to damp. An inkjet printer produces layered droplets of ink, which can be seen under magnification. Dye sublimation creates constant tones without spotting, similar to a chemically produced photograph. Sublimation printers also contain fewer moving parts than inkjet printers, decreasing wear-and-tear issues.

From above all , we can know ,how great of sublimation printing ! Over the past few decades ,most textile manufactrer choose screen printing or other tranditional printing ways for textile printing ,but there are so many disadvantages :Pollution, in the printing process will produce a lot of waste water; are mass production, do not meet the individual consumer demand; print on the fabric color is not bright enough, and the pattern can not be saved for a long time.So many textile manufacturer give up tranditional printing ways, and start sublimation printing for textile printing .Because all of them know ,sublimation printing can improve quality of textile printing.
