What are the precautions for using eco solvent ink in winter?

The recent domestic climate has entered the winter, the temperature decreased the area gradually into the coldest moment. Eco solvent ink in temperature reduced circumstances, the physicochemical parameters will be changed and affected by this problem, the specific situation is not the same, but most of them are caused by cold and dry climate.

For this reason I summarized some experience and methods for reference.

The first big problem facing the low temperature in winter!

The heat transfer ink is used in winter, the temperature is one of the main problems. The lower the temperature, the viscosity of the ink will increase its liquidity, so when printing ink jet is affected, such as print or print screen appears frequently confessed the phenomenon of broken ink, can also cause severe fatigue damage of the piezoelectric ceramic nozzle inside.

Recommendation:

1. Raise the working environment temperature of the printer by air conditioning or heating (it is recommended that the temperature should be kept at least 15 degrees Celsius).

2. Temperature control devices are added to the secondary cartridge and the main ink drum to increase the ink temperature to 25-28 C.

3. If the working environment temperature of the printer is below 15 C, it is suggested to turn on the heating function of the printing nozzle, or some nozzles have no built-in heating function, or to turn on the heating function of the headboard. If the printer has one of the above two heating functions, it is recommended that the heating temperature be set at 30 - 32 C.

The second big problem facing the dry in winter!

Low winter temperatures, regardless of indoor heating or air conditioning heating, indoor air relative humidity will become dry, dry (environmental humidity is less than 30%). The dry environment will also affect the normal use of ink.

Recommendation:

The conditions of clients or will print the indoor temperature / humidity kept in the ideal range (18-27 degrees Celsius, relative humidity 35%-80%), and recommended for the printer power to play ground handling.

The importance of transportation and storage environment!

Some people think that as long as the temperature and humidity of my printing room are well controlled, how the ink is transported and stored is not important. In fact, the transportation and storage environment of ink is also a key factor affecting the performance of ink. If the temperature is too high or too low, the physical and chemical parameters of ink will be affected by too long time.

Recommendation:

1. Eco-solvent ink transportation in winter, especially in the Chinese northern region, suggested in the low temperature (minus 10 DEG C or lower) under the condition of transportation time not more than a week. If this time is exceeded, it is recommended to use thermal insulation container or vehicle transportation with good thermal insulation and sealing conditions.

2. Ink storage warehouse should have certain heat preservation conditions, if not, it is recommended to install heating or air conditioning. It is best to keep the storage environment temperature 5-30 C, air humidity 25-70%, to ensure the normal storage of ink.

3. In the printer cartridge / main ink barrels of ink before, at least 24 hours in advance will be put on standby next to the printer ink. In order to replace the ink, the temperature of the spare ink is close to that of the ink in the printer cartridge/main bucket.
