How can we use sticky sublimation transfer paper to avoid stickiness or over-stick?
When using sticky paper, users tend to have insufficient tack or over-stick problems. When the viscosity is insufficient, the paper and the fabric cannot be stuck together after the transfer; when the adhesive is too sticky, the paper and the fabric after the transfer are difficult to peel off. In fact, customers encounter non-stick and too sticky sticky papers are the same kind of paper, but the application scenarios are different, and the results obtained are different.
So how can I use sticky paper to avoid stickiness or over-stick?
First of all, we need to understand the factors affecting the bond strength between the adhesive paper and the fabric. The bond between the fabric and the adhesive paper is affected by the following aspects:a. Adhesive grade of adhesive paper
b. Fabric type
c. Environmental humidity
d. Customer's pattern
e. Preservation of sticky paper
The following analysis is based on each of the factors affecting the viscosity:
a. Sticky paper viscosity grade: For customers of different fabrics, the ambient air humidity is different throughout the year, for sticky paper bond strength requirements are also different. In addition to the common sticky paper for most fabrics, we developed a kind of high sticky paper.High-sticky paper, compared to ordinary sticky paper, bond strength increased by 50%, other performance indicators are comparable, mainly applicable to the relatively dry autumn and winter season, or customer-oriented pattern light-colored, fabric more smooth application scenarios.b. Types of fabrics: Fabric is a major factor affecting the bonding force. The smoother the general fabric, the lower the adhesion between the sticky paper and the fabric. Sticky paper in the heat transfer process in the coating of the binder in the molten state, if the fabric is high smoothness, the bond will provide less adhesion.In the face of smooth elastic fabric, it is recommended to select high sticky paper.
c. Ambient humidity: Sticky paper viscous strength and transfer process of moisture. General moisture is high, viscous will be strong. Some customers in the process of using sticky paper, spring and summer sticky paper strength is very good, one to autumn and winter, sticky paper sometimes insufficient, this is due to the transfer process of paper and fabric moisture too low.In this case, you can try to put the fabric in a high humidity environment in the first absorption and then transfer printing, in addition to the sticky paper when printing attention to control drying degree, do not make transfer paper too dry.
d. Retention of tacky paper: Not printed sticky paper should not be exposed to the air for a long time, this will reduce the stickiness of sticky paper, tacky paper need to seal preservation. If the customer has left half a roll of sticky paper, to be used as soon as possible to seal the original plastic bag to save, should not be placed in the air for a long time. We have done testing, sealed sticky paper, kept for more than 6 months, viscous will not weaken. Print good sticky paper to timely transfer, the general printing good sticky paper if placed for several days, viscous will weaken. Because the moisture will continue to evaporate and transfer paper coating viscosity drop, the general requirements of printing a good adhesive paper in 2-24 hours to complete transfer, if too late transfer printing also need to seal preservation.
