What’s the difference of 60gsm, 80gsm and 100gsm sublimation transfer paper? What’s the pertinence of their application aspects?
Printing pattern: Dark- colored pattern uses high gram weight, while light-colored floral pattern can use low gram weight;
Printer selection: High-speed machine can cooperate with low weights, while slow-speed machine have a high requirement for the weight. Because the nozzle will be repeated in one place to print if the weight is not enough to curl;
Printing ink: High concentration of ink are with low gram weight paper.
Generally, 45gsm sublimation transfer paper work with the one-pass machine instead of Traditional gravure printing, which is the mainstream in future. There are no special requirements for weights in different markets. We just only develop some weights for some special products in the US Market, such as 120gsm and 140gsm. And Transfer metal plate has its special paper. We only consider the cost of the products for the market, mainly include the cost of raw materials and coating costs.
