What fabrics can be used to sublimate printing?

 sublimate printing
Sublimate printing, also referred to as dye sublimation printing, is a printing method for transferring images onto a substrate (usually a cloth material such as polyester). Sublimation refers to a process where a substance moves from a solid to a gas state without ever being in a liquid state. Sublimation printing normally involves the use of a digital printer to produce mirrored images on paper that has been specially coated with a transfer material.

Sublimation printing application is very wide, can be used for fabric ,wood ,metal ,mugs ,flex and so on .Today , mainly introduce you what kind of fabric can be sublimation printed .

However, the best possible fabric that someone should use for printing with the dye-sublimation process is anything with some form of polymeric fabric. This can include polyester, acrillics, nyons and spandex. For example, if someone were to print something on a t-shirt using dye-sublimation, it would have to be at least 60 percent polyester. It can be 40 cotton, 60 polyester, which a lot of shirts are.

It is considered the best fabric because of the thickness of polyester and the way it is able to absorb the ink better than anything 100 percent cotton. It can absorb the ink quicker and the material is also a lot less expensive than most people would think.

However ,we should pay attention to 100% cotton fabric can not be sublimation printed .Because it can not bear high temperature.
